Helsinki University Hospital

Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) is Finland’s premier academic medical center and the largest provider of specialized healthcare in the country. Serving more than 1.6 million residents across Uusimaa and offering national care for complex and rare conditions, HUS combines comprehensive clinical services with cutting-edge research and teaching. In March 2024, the HUS Comprehensive Cancer Center received Magnet® recognition for nursing excellence, becoming the first hospital in the Nordic countries and only the second in Europe to earn this prestigious designation. In July 2024, the HUS Heart and Lung Center was also awarded Magnet® status.
