The 5th Ulm Nursing Management Congress is taking place this year for the first time in cooperation with Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences. The congress aims to uphold our motto "Learning from the best" by exploring various topics, including Transformational Leadership, Structural Empowerment, Autonomy of Care, Professional Practice, Empirical Outcomes, Quality of Care, Innovations and Development, Digitalization, and Global Topics such as Outpatientization and the Effects of Demographic Development. One of the key focuses of the event is staff recruitment and the win-win situation that arises from attracting international employees. Additionally, training and staff development will be emphasized. Insights from the Magnet4Europe study will be shared, and the "Journey to Magnet" will be examined through practical examples. With four successful conferences held in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021, we anticipate the participation of approximately 200 attendees in 2023. The congress will provide a platform to explore innovative approaches to nursing, leadership, patient outcomes, and development opportunities for nurses. It will also highlight the resulting opportunities and strengths for the nursing profession. Join us at this exciting event as we gather and learn from the best in the field.
