10/22/2021

Tipton Health, one of the U.S. leaders in nursing excellence consulting, will provide Magnet4Europe members with $50,000 in free workshops and consulting support to help participants improve outcomes and the nursing work environment using the Magnet framework. The “Applying Magnet to Your Service Line” workshop “helps to take the research off the page and down to the bedside,” said Tipton Health CEO Dan Tipton, when announcing the donation at a recent M4E learning collaborative

This 16-hour virtual workshop includes 19 separate modules and three live Q&A sessions with Tipton Health consultants. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the Magnet framework and the knowledge needed to embrace a culture of learning and continuous improvement during daily nursing activities.

Tipton Health developed the workshop to help nurses and nurse leaders understand the key roles they play in driving nursing excellence.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to support the M4E effort,” Dan said. “Your work will enable your nurses and your communities to benefit from Magnet’s evidence-based frameworks for nursing excellence. However, we have found that it can be challenging to translate some of the concepts into the daily nursing activities critical to building a “Magnet” culture. This workshop was designed to address that challenge.”

The details of this donation will soon be shared in an upcoming communication from Mary Del Guidice, UPENN M4E team member and Tipton Health CNO.

Tipton Health has supported the nursing excellence work of more than 200 healthcare organization (more than 30% of all Magnet designated hospitals). Tipton Health is committed to improving the operational and cultural foundations of nursing excellence; creating better work environments for nurses; boosting nursing morale and engagement; increasing trust in nursing leadership; and enabling nursing team to validate their progress against the Magnet or Pathway to excellence frameworks.
