By Noeleen Brady, Postdoctoral researcher, University College Cork Ireland University College Cork hosts the learning collaboratives together with Prof. Linda Aiken and members of the University of Pennsylvania and to date there has been the Launch event and three learning collaboratives for Group 1 hospitals. We officially held the online launch event on October 4th with 393 in attendance. This was open to all hospitals, both Group 1 and 2. The event was recorded, and the video links can be accessed here:
Thank you for organizing such a wonderful program. The first learning collaborative for Group 1 hospitals was held on December 4th with 234 attendees. Topics included “Getting started and how to work with your Magnet twin”, “Leading your Magnet4Europe team” and “Progressing your organizations’ GAP-analysis”. The second collaborative 272 attendees and it was held on January 22nd. The topics for the second learning collaborative included “Engaging your physician partners” and “M4E Gap Analysis: Twinning Partners Discuss their Progress, Approach and Shared Learnings”. The third learning collaborative took place on February 19th and 257 people attended. The topic for this collaborative will include “Engaging your physician partners”, “M4E Gap Analysis: Twinning Partners Discuss their Progress and Lessons Learned”, “How Current ANCC Magnet Requirement for Benchmarking RN Satisfaction have been met in Europe”, “M4E Clinician Well-Being Study: Sharing a Successful Communication and Engagement Strategy” and “Thinking about action plans to follow initial gap analysis”.
